
Massage Therapy
Nothing feels better than a good old fashion massage. I love coming off the massage table feeling like a string of cooked spaghetti. So relaxed I could sleep on the table, and I have, for hours on end. Massage is like an old friend I know it will always be there. And so I have used massage almost on a regular basis. Many people however are not comfortable with stripping down to their knickers while a complete stranger is touching your body.
To them I say, get over it as you don’t know what you are missing.
However, for more sensitive reasons having same gender therapists can assist in breaking those barriers of being touched. Therefore, my suggestion is to start off with, if you are a female, a female massage therapist. Simply have a relaxing massage, no frills, no hard digging, no lets get that knot out style of massage, just a simple relaxing approach would be best. Allow yourself, in a private and safe setting, to be touched in a gentle and therapeutic manner. Once you get over the hump you will be addicted and massage therapy will become part of your regular routine.
There are many places today that offer massage therapy, do your due diligence and ensure the therapist is accredited and has the required qualifications. One note, all therapists are not equal so do not be discouraged if you go to one and it was not good for you. This means seek out another who may be more suitable, they are out there.
